It was history in the making. During the 2025 Installation of Officers and Board of Directors, the GCBA became the first home builder association in Florida to swear in an all female leadership team. 

The historic first was marked with special recognition from the entire GCBA Membership, the CEO of the Florida Home Builders Association, and a special letter from the National Association of Home Builders.
